    Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami

    From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:

This place lies in the north-western part of Jāvaṭa. Śrīmatī Rādhikā manifested a stream of Bhagavatī Gaṅgā here. It is said that this Pārala-Gaṅgā is a pond endowed with transcendental power. On the western bank of this pond is an ancient pārijāta tree, which blossoms in the month of Vaiśākha (March–April). It is accepted that this tree was planted by the hands of Rādhā Herself and still exists today.

    Rajashekhara Dasa

From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:

This kunda is also known as Parala-ganga and it is said that the water of the Ganges River appeared here just for the satisfaction of Radharani. There is an ancient parijata tree on the bank of this kunda which is said to have been planted by Radharani, who made garlands from its flowers which She offered to Krishna. There is still a tree at this same place which is said to flower once in a year in the month of Vaishakha (April/May).
