Description

Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
In this temple one can have darshana of Advaita Acharya and his eternal consort Sita Devi. The name Sita-natha refers to Advaita Acharya, the lord (natha) of Sita, his devoted wife. Advaita Acharya is an incarnation of Lord Mahavishnu and one of Lord Chaitanya’s most important confidants being a member of the Pancha-tattva. It was Advaita Acharya who fervently prayed to the Supreme Lord, that He should appear on earth to deliver the fallen masses of Kaliyoga. From the roof-top of this temple one can get a panoramic view of Seva-kunja and also the adjoining kunja known as Kishore-vana, which was originally part of Seva-kunja.
