From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
This trail used by the cowherd boys formerly ran along the old bank of the Yamuna as far as Keshi Ghata where the cowherd boys used to play ball games. This trail now forms part of the Vrindavana Parikrama path.
