Northwards beyond Mohana-kunda are the eight kundas of the ashtha-sakhis along with Bhanukhora and Balarama-kunda. Although Bhanukhora and Balarama-kunda are visible the year-round, the kundas of the ashtha-sakhis are only clearly visible during the monsoon season when these kundas fill with rain water.
