Description

Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
This village became famous because all the local Vrajavasi village people wore Vaishnava tilak on their foreheads, which was due to the influence of a very great Vaishnava saint who once lived in the village. This same saintly person was also known to possess a valuable jewel (mani) which he threw into the Yamuna River and because of this the nearby village of Manighadhi achieved its name.
