Description

Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
One day, Krishna came to this part of Vraja while herding His cows. The word ‘karamana’ implies that one’s mind is ‘completely absorbed’ in a particular thought. Since the early morning, Krishna was completely absorbed in thinking about Radharani and suddenly due to intense feelings of separation from Her, He fainted and fell to the ground almost unconscious, thus this place became known as Karamana.
