Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
This place is famous amongst the Vrajavasis as the actual spot where Lord Balarama slew the demon Pralambhasura. On the order of King Kamsa, Pralambhasura had entered Vrindavana and after disguising himself as a cowherd boy, he had planned to kidnap both Krishna and Balarama and then kill Them. However his evil plan did not work out and he was instead killed by Lord Balarama.
