Description

Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami
From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:
This place is situated near Kacchavana. While they grazed their cows, the sakhās decorated (bhūṣita kiyā) Kṛṣṇa here with many kinds of flowers. This place is therefore called Bhūṣaṇavana.
Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
This forest is called Bhushanavana because it was here that the cowherd boys decorated Krishna with ornaments made from forest flowers. The word ‘bhushana’ means ‘ornaments’.
