    Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami

    From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:

Bhaṇḍāgora is situated two miles north-west of Raṇavāḍī, and currently goes by the name of Bhādāvalī. Śrī Nanda Mahārāja’s storeroom (bhaṇḍāra-gṛha) was here. The cows were also brought here for grazing.

    Rajashekhara Dasa

From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:

It is said that the name of this village is derived from the word ‘bandara’ which means ‘storeroom’ or ‘warehouse’, because Nanda Maharaja kept one of his storehouses at this place. The Bhakti-ratnakara says, “See here is Bhandagora-grama. O Shrinivasa, Krishna performed wonderful pastimes here. People now call this town Bhadali. One who takes bath here achieves all perfection.”
