Description

Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami
From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:
This village lies four miles east of Kāmyavana and two miles from Bajerā-gaon. Śrīmati Rādhikā offered the golden necklace She was wearing to Mahādeva during Her worship of him here. Therefore even today, this village is called Sunaharā or Sunerā, meaning “golden necklace”. This village is also called Sunaharā- gaon because it is established up on the Suvarṇācala Hill.
