From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:

The word ‘Hara’ refers to ‘Krishna’ and the word ‘sukha’ means ‘pleasure’ or ‘satisfaction’. At this place, Krishna who is also known as Harideva, the lifter of Govardhana Hill, gave immense pleasure to the gopis by fulfilling each gopi’s inner desire to satisfy Him through intimate embraces and other exchanges of transcendental love.
