Vitthalanatha spent the rest of his life in the service of Lord Gopala and his samadhi is located at the place where the abhisheka and annakuta ceremony of Lord Gopala was held. There is a govardhana-shila here which is being worshiped as a mukharavinda-shila by the Vallabhacharya sampradaya; however, this particular mukharavinda was not accepted by Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati as the real mukharavinda-shila, which he said was located at Manasi-ganga.
