    Rajashekhara Dasa

From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:

The name Bajna is derived from the word ‘bhajana’ which means ‘to sing or play musical instruments’. It is said that one day, after having seated Radha and Krishna on a splendid flower bedecked throne, the cowherd boys began playing drums and various instruments while the gopis sang songs glorifying Radha and Krishna while many other gopis danced in a circle around the ‘divine couple’. Bajna is located on the Vraja Mandala Borderline-Parikrama.
