Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
In the Bhakti-ratnakara it is said, “Behold the village named Bhadaraya where yuthesvari Bhadradevi sports.” This is the village where one of the important gopis named Bhadra used to live. She was a ‘yutheshvara’, or leader of younger gopis and this village has been named after her. The name Bhadal is a corrupted form of the name Bhadra. There is a large kunda here known as Bhadra-kunda named after Bhadradevi.
