Rajashekhara Dasa

In this temple one can see the Deity of Lord Vishnu resting on the celestial serpent Ananta Sesha. The name Padmanabha refers to Lord Garbhodakashayi Vishnu, from whose navel (nabha), a lotus flower (padma) grew, which became the birthplace of Lord Brahma.
