Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami
From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:
This ghāṭa is situated a little south of Pānī-ghāṭa. Śrī Kṛṣṇa gave darśana of Ādi-badrī-nārāyaṇa to the gopīs at this place.
Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
It is said that Krishna showed His form of Lord Badri-Narayana at this ghata just to please the gopis, others say that He also showed this same form to the cowherd boys at this same ghata. Some have said that Shrila Vyasadeva, who took birth near Mathura as the son of Parashara Muni and Satyavati, wrote the tenth-canto of the Shrimad-Bhagavatam here.
