Description

Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami
From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:
This ghāṭa is found north of Yugala-ghāṭa. Kṛṣṇa and the gopīs used to play “blind man’s bluff” in the garden adjacent to this ghāṭa. The gopīs covered their eyes with their hands while Śrī Kṛṣṇa hid somewhere nearby. The gopīs then searched for Him. Sometimes, Śrī Kiśorījī would hide in this way and the others would look for Her.
Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
This is another unmarked ghata that is glorified as the place where Radha and Krishna and the sakhis used to play a game known as ‘blind man’s bluff’. In this particular game, both Radha and Krishna would take turns in blind-folding their eyes. Then with the blind-fold obscuring Their vision, They would try to catch the others. The word ‘andha’ means ‘blind’.
