Description

Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami
From the book “Sri Vraja-maṇḍala-parikramā”:
This is Nārada’s place of worship. Devarṣi Nārada became impatient here while singing about Kṛṣṇa’s sweet pastimes. Bhakti- ratnakāra says:
dekhaha nārada kuṇḍa nārada eī khāne
haila mahā adhairya kṛṣṇera līlā gāne
haila mahā adhairya kṛṣṇera līlā gāne
“Just see this Nārada-kuṇḍa, where Nārada lost all patience while singing about Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes.”
Rajashekhara Dasa
From the book “Chaurasi-kosa Vraja Mandala Parikrama”:
The Bhakti-ratnakara says, “O Shrinivasa, just see Narada-kunda. By taking bath here all one’s desires are fulfilled.” It is said that this is the place where Durvasa Muni gave a special benediction to Radharani, that whatever she cooked would become nectar and whoever ate Her cooking would never get sick. Because of this benediction, Yasoda Mayi arranged to have Radharani cook for Krishna every day. The Bhakti-ratnakara says, “At this place one muni benedicted Shrimati Radhika that whatever She cooked would become nectar.’ It is also said that Radharani would stand here in the morning with Her girlfriends and watch Her beloved Krishna head to the forests for grazing the cows while surrounded by His cowherd boyfriends.
